It’s time for a change and so we have a new venue this year! On Wednesday, December 2, 2026 the CSA Retirees’ Club Annual Christmas Luncheon will be held at the Islington Golf Club at 45 Riverbank Drive, Etobicoke M9A 5B8. All CSA Group retirees are invited to attend this event with 1 guest. Once again we’re subsidizing the event and you will pay only $55 each for you and your guest. CSA Retirees over 80 attend for FREE!
The Islington Golf Club is tucked away at the Northwest corner of Dundas & Islington. Once again we’ll have a buffet lunch with a festive salad bar, turkey and all the fixings, baked salmon with mustard & dill cream sauce, spinach & ricotta cannelloni in tomato sauce, herb roasted potatoes, maple glazed vegetables and finishing with bread pudding, mini cakes, fruit, coffee & tea. Please tell us if you have any dietary restrictions and we’ll ensure that you are accommodated. Doors open at 11 am.

Event Details
Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2026 Doors open at 11:00, lunch is served at 12:00 noon
Place: Islington Golf Club 45 Riverbank Dr., Etobicoke 416-231-1114
Directions: Riverbank Dr is accessible from both Islington (1 block north of Dundas – no lights) or from Dundas (immediately west of Islington – no lights not accessible if you’re coming from the west). Riverbank winds past homes and trees and then you’ll come to the entrance to the golf club. Follow the golf club road as it curves left towards the clubhouse. It’s a 2-way narrow road, so beware of oncoming cars. There’s parking in front of the club house and more parking down the hill.
Accessibility: There are stairs at the door, but there is a long ramp that provides accessibility. If you are able, drop your passenger and proceed to parking. If you need assistance, please advise us and we’ll have someone available to assist. Inside the venue is fully accessible.
Price: $55.00 per person — includes buffet, taxes and gratuity
Payment: by e-Transfer to Terri (Teresa) Smith at TerriSmith991@gmail.com (see detailed e-Transfer instructions below) or by alternate form of payment as arranged with Terri. Payment must be made by noon Saturday, November 28, 2026. Since we must provide a count before the event we are unable to provide a refund if you are unable to attend and don’t cancel before the deadline.
Exception: For this event, Honourary Members of the CSA Retirees’ Club (Retirees 80 years of age or older) are invited to attend as “Guests of the Club” for no charge. However, the $55.00 price will apply for their guest.
Drinks: Wine and beer and other refreshments are available at a Cash Bar (debit & credit only).

Payment by e-Transfer
Members are requested to send payments using Interac e-Transfer. If you are unable to pay by e-transfer, please contact Terri Smith by email at TerriSmith991@gmail.com to arrange another form of payment.
Interac e-Transfer is a convenient way to send money directly from your bank account to the CSA Retirees event organizer. All you need is access to online or mobile banking through a participating financial institution, and you can send money to the event organizer with an email address and a bank account in Canada — without sharing any personal financial information.
To forward your remittance for the Christmas Luncheon:
- Log in to your financial institution’s online or mobile banking and navigate to Interac e-Transfer Send Money.
- Select the account you would like funds transferred from.
- Add or select a contact and fill out the name and e-mail address of the person to whom you wish to send money. In this case Terri (Teresa) Smith at TerriSmith991@gmail.com. Please note that this is a different email address from last year.
- Type in the specified amount you are sending ($55 per person), along with a personalized message (mention the event name: i.e. CSA Christmas Luncheon).
- The organizer will receive a notification and can deposit the funds to their account through their online banking.
