John Kean turns 90!

On May 31, 2024, John Kean turns 90 years young!

From Newfoundland to Toronto with a few stops along the way. From Inspector to President of CSA, John has led an interesting life. We owe John a great debt. For it was John who started the Retirees Club. He continues to keep-in-touch, with, well, almost everyone!

  4. Happy Birthday!!

John, you have extra- ordinary management and people skills. I have had few occasions to work with you as PEG President and Senior Engineer of Concrete Prorams.

I still remember your call at 4 am in a hotel in Vancouver to know if CSA were not in trouble because of a Precast Concrete Bridge on Autoroute15 in Montreal had a failure. CSA was not responsible. You were expecting Press to contact you.

    Stay safe and healthy.

    God be with you.

    Cheers with Singleton!!

  5. Happy Birthday Mr. Kean. I remember how much of a family CSA was when you led the company. My mother, Tricia Moorley, and my Dad, Gary Moorley always spoke of you with great respect.

My husband, Jim Wiley looks back at his work with you and your executive team and is pleased with what was accomplished during his tenure.

  16. Hi Mr. Kean, this is my first time here. I want to wish for you the best in your 90’s. I often tell people about you and what a great President you were. The day you retired was a sad day for me personally. I do miss certain times at CSA and the many people I worked with. I am soo glad I stayed at CSA for nearly 43 years no regrets and met amazing people in those years. Stay healthy my friend, all the best to you and your family in the coming years.
